Medical waste management firm MedClean Technologies, Inc. (Bethel, CT) and hazardous waste services provider Triumvirate Environmental (Somerville, MA) have formed a partnership under which the two companies will jointly provide integrated medical waste disposal and document destruction technology and services. Under the partnership, MedClean will provide its on-site technology for medical waste treatment and document destruction, complementing Triumvirate’s hazardous waste management and disposal business, which serves 25 of the 26 largest healthcare organizations in the northeastern United States. Triumvirate said that it has the option to offer medical waste disposal on site or to create off-site processing centers with the MedClean system.
