As part of its ongoing effort to divest its Industrial Segment business and focus on its Nuclear Segment, Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (Atlanta, GA) has completed the sale of Perma-Fix of Orlando for $2 million, subject to working capital adjustments. Perma-Fix did not identify the buyer of the Orlando operations, which the company had previously classified as discontinued. Separately, Perma-Fix announced that its board of directors has authorized the re-purchase of up to $3 million of the company’s common stock. The price of the stock closed at $1.30 per share at the end of trading on October 24.
