Land development, infrastructure, and energy services company Bowman Consulting Group (Chantilly, VA) has acquired DEI Professional Services LLC (Phoenix, AZ), a 14-employee engineering, planning, and surveying firm serving the Phoenix area. According to Bowman, DEI has extensive experience in the design and development of master-planned communities and has taken on highly technical surveying assignments, such as the Hoover Dam bypass and a $2 billion I-15 corridor project in Utah. The purchase of DEI is Bowman’s second acquisition in the Phoenix area within the past few months, following up the acquisition of Tempe-based Vantage Resources LLC. “We continue to be optimistic about Phoenix and excited about its strategic potential to our organization,” said Gary Bowman, president of Bowman Consulting.
